Why visit
Hong Kong?

Hong Kong is one of the world's great urban experiences — a vertical city of extraordinary energy where East meets West in a unique cultural fusion. The skyline of glittering towers rising from Victoria Harbour, with green mountains as a backdrop, is one of the most dramatic cityscapes on Earth.

Beyond the famous skyline, Hong Kong offers outstanding Cantonese cuisine, traditional temples tucked between skyscrapers, the iconic Star Ferry, cable car rides to the Peak and wild hiking trails just 30 minutes from the financial district.

Best Time to Visit

October–December is perfect: clear skies, low humidity and pleasant temperatures (18–25°C). The Victoria Harbour views are at their sharpest and the city is at its most comfortable.

March brings warm, relatively dry weather before the humid summer arrives. The Hong Kong Sevens rugby tournament in late March is a legendary event.

June–September is hot (30–35°C), very humid and typhoon season. Indoor attractions and air-conditioned shopping malls become essential. Major typhoons occasionally shut the city.
